Job Title: Phlebotomist

Location: Mumbai, Thane

Reports to: Laboratory Manager/Senior Phlebotomist

Job Summary:
Collect blood samples from patients, maintain quality standards, and adhere to NABL guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical

1. Collect blood samples from patients using venipuncture or capillary puncture techniques.

2. Label, store, and transport samples to laboratory.

3. Maintain accurate records of sample collection and patient information.

4. Ensure proper patient identification and sample labeling.

Quality Control

1. Adhere to NABL guidelines and ISO 15189 standards.

2. Follow quality control procedures for sample collection and handling.

3. Participate in quality assurance activities.

Safety and Biosecurity

1. Follow biosafety guidelines and protocols.

2. Handle biohazardous materials and chemicals safely.

Patient Care

1. Provide excellent patient care and communication.

2. Ensure patient comfort and safety during sample collection.

Documentation and Communication

1. Maintain accurate records of sample collection and patient information.

2. Communicate sample collection status to laboratory staff.

Training and Development

1. Participate in training programs for new techniques and technologies.

2. Stay updated on phlebotomy best practices.

**Requirements**:
Education

1. Diploma/Certificate in Phlebotomy.

Experience

1. 6 months-1 year of experience in phlebotomy.

**Skills**:
1. Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and safety protocols.

2. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Attention to detail and accuracy.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
