**JOB TITLE**:Technology and Security Architect**

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provides overall direction, guidance, and definition of IT and security architecture to effectively support the Petrofac IT strategy.
- Responsible to Create, Run and Maintain Architecture Framework and standards.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of projects implemented in Azure, ensuring alignment with best practices, security standards, and architectural guidelines.
- Develop and enforce governance frameworks to maintain the integrity, scalability, and security of Azure-based solutions.
- Supports all architectural disciplines and champions’ architectural initiatives across the Pillars.
- Reviews existing processes and establishes metrics to improve processes, as well as support of all architectural disciplines under their direction.
- Works on highly complex projects that require in-depth knowledge across multiple specialized architecture domains.
- Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of complex integration projects involving ERP systems and Azure cloud services.
- Leads the Architecture review board and ensures that the solutions are compliant with target-state architecture models.
- Aligns architecture strategy with business goals.
- Defines, explains, and advocates technology strategy.
- Develops and communicates architectural policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Leads and facilitates the creation of governing principles to guide Architecture decision making.
- Manages exceptions to architectural standards.
- Reviews and/or analyses and develops architectural requirements as needed for the Petrofac.
- Ensures the conceptual completeness of the technical solutions.
- Approves modification of the enterprise architecture to accommodate project needs.
- Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impacts, and technology priorities.
- Ensures recommendations are based on business relevance, appropriate timing, and deployment.
- Collaborates with project management and IT leaders to ensure progress towards architectural alignment with project goals and requirements.
- Design and Implement Security Controls for any new infrastructure implementation.
- Understand and documents Security requirements from various stakeholders like Customers, Regulators, and Internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with Security, IT and vendors to ensure all implementations are according to the Security requirements of the Project and agreed specifications.
- Develop and Report metrics across all implementation projects.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing Architecture Framework conduct assessment and ensure compliance with Technology and Architecture Framework.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:

- Certification in Togaf, SABSA or a similar level of Architecture certification.
- 10 years of experience as an Technology Architect or Security Architect or in similar roles.
- Good Knowledge and certifications in Azure Cloud Architecture and Security domain.
- In-depth knowledge of various integration options available in Azure, including API management, Azure Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices in cloud environments.
- Ability to work in a complex and large enterprise environment
- Ability to interact with staff, peers and customers on a technical and professional level
- Experience of working in large enterprise Project teams with proven ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
- Experience in deploying large and complex projects in an enterprise environment.
- Good Knowledge of Azure Cloud.
- Should have worked on complex integration projects and should be familiar with various integration options available in Azure.
