Step into the role of Settlement Agent, where you will have hands-on experience with Loan IQ, ACBS, and strong knowledge of loan documentation, trade settlements, and banking operations. This role requires coordination across internal teams, financial institutions, and counterparties to ensure timely and accurate loan closings and fundings.
Key requirements for the role:
- Facilitate the settlement of new loan deals, restructures, amendments, and secondary loan trades.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Middle Office, Legal, and external counterparties to ensure all conditions precedent are met before funding.
- Input, monitor, and update loan transactions using systems such as Loan IQ and/or ACBS.
- Validate and reconcile settlement figures with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal credit, operations, and regulatory policies.
- Troubleshoot discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve exceptions.
- Maintain accurate records of settled trades and audit trails.
- Assist in documentation review including credit agreements, facility letters, and closing checklists.

**Purpose of the role**
To support Wholesale Lending with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
**Accountabilities**
- Support with day-to-day Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.
- Monitoring the bank’s lending operations to ensure that they are conducted in an efficient and effective manner and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate Wholesale Lending processes.
- Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations for change in Wholesale Lending processes.
- Development and implementation of Wholesale Lending procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Development of reports and presentations on Wholesale Lending performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in Wholesale Lending Services.
- Participation in projects and initiatives to improve Wholesale Lending efficiency and effectiveness.
