Key Responsibilities

Transport Management: Oversee daily transportation operations, including vehicle scheduling, routing, and dispatching.

Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure all company vehicles are well-maintained, serviced, and meet safety standards.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with government regulations, including permits, licenses, and safety guidelines.

Fleet Supervision: Monitor fuel consumption, driver performance, and vehicle utilization to optimize efficiency.

Team Coordination: Manage drivers and transportation staff, assign duties, and resolve operational issues.

Logistics Planning: Plan and optimize routes to minimize delays and improve delivery efficiency.

Documentation: Maintain records related to vehicle operations, fuel logs, driver duty schedules, and accident reports.

Emergency Handling: Address transport-related emergencies, breakdowns, and delays effectively.

Vendor & Supplier Coordination: Liaise with external transport service providers when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong knowledge of transport logistics, fleet management, and vehicle maintenance.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Familiarity with government transport regulations and compliance standards.

Ability to handle a team of drivers and transportation personnel.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle operational challenges.
