Position: HVAC Design & Estimation Engineer

Role Overview: As an HVAC Design & Estimation Engineer at Max Aircon Pune, you will play a vital role in providing technical expertise and support in designing HVAC systems and estimating project costs. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed system design, preparing project estimates, and collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.

**Responsibilities**:
HVAC System Design: Develop detailed HVAC system designs, including equipment selection, ductwork layout, pipe sizing, and control system integration, based on client requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.

Estimation and Costing: Prepare accurate and competitive project estimates, considering material costs, labor, equipment, and overhead expenses. Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to finalize project quotations.

Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to clients, internal teams, and contractors regarding HVAC system design, equipment selection, energy efficiency, and sustainability measures.

Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, regulations, and industry best practices in HVAC system design and estimation.

Documentation: Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), and cost estimates.

Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their HVAC requirements, provide technical recommendations, address queries, and offer solutions that align with their budget and project goals.

Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization without compromising quality or performance.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies, industry trends, and advancements in design software and estimation tools.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that HVAC system designs meet quality standards, performance requirements, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC design and estimation, preferably in the industrial sector.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and estimation tools.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and design principles.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing HVAC systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to develop efficient HVAC designs and accurate cost estimates.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design and estimation solutions.
