**JOB DESCRIPTION: Video Journalist**
1. Position Detail : Video Journalist [ Intern]
**Department** : Mass media and Communication

**Reports to ** : Senior Video Journalist

**Job Type** : Full-time (in-office)

**Duration ** : 6 months [Internship]

**Location** : Machine Maker, Mart Infomedia Private Limited, B201, Bhumkar Chowk
Marunji Road, Wakad, Pune - 411057 (On-site)

**3. Key Activities**:

- Visiting locations and taking a series of test shots.
- Story teller through its videography
- Assessing leads and pitching captivating story ideas to editors
- Travel to different locations and execute timely news coverage
- Conducting interviews of all the stake holders related to the programme
- Ensuring to meet all regular and recurring deadlines
- Reviewing and editing work for editorial approval
- Using all the findings to prepare clean, concise, and factual articles
- Adhering to the ethical code of the profession
- Keeping records of all notes, interviews and audio files
- Creating trustworthy relationships with contacts and sources for use in future research
- Keeping up-to-date on the latest news developments by attending events, studying

different papers, opinion pieces, and social media
- Collecting, verifying, and deciphering data

**4. Role Requirements**:

- News reporting
- Previous working experience as a Journalist for min 1 years
- Excellent portfolio of published stories
- Must have the skills of effective conversation to be able to get the facts
- Hands on experience in writing and editing
- In-depth knowledge of interviewing best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to details
- Graduation Degree in Journalism or similar relevant field
- Language-English, Hindi, Marathi
