TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Daily BU freight communications for any urgent / escalations inbound/outbound.
- Maintain and update forwarder contact matrix regularly.
- Weekly operation call with forwarder and BU teams on On Time Delivery and Daily Shipment Report quality.
- Align with GLOG Freight team for any adhoc rate approvals needed.
- First level freight invoice approvals.
- Execute and maintain SAP Route determination for EMEA region.
- Publish report on freight forwarder performance, spend, weight trends.
- Identify cost saving projects with close contact with BU Supply Chain Management/ Customer Service teams.

**DC/3PL**
- Daily Gemba walks and review DC KPI
- Coordination and support internal and external logistics flow
- Support TE 3PL relationships with external providers
- Cooperation by implementing of operational metrics and measurements and ensure operations and costs are managed to metrics and goals.
- Interact with GLOG regional leads - performance indicator (i.e. KPIs, Dashboard, Scorecard, etc.), update with the impact of BU´s

**CRITICAL EXPERIENCE**
- 3+ years’ experience in operational logistics functions.
- Confident knowledge in international supply chain operations.
- System skills in SAP and other ERP systems.
- Working knowledge of import/export procedures and requirements.
- Skilled MS Office user (Excel / Word / PowerPoint). Power BI / Tableau user an advantage.
- Knowledge of logistics industry and transportation operations.
- Knowledge of the lean operation.
