**Job Title**: Commissioning Editor-Agra

Seeking a Dynamic Commissioning Editor for Oswaal Books. Oswaal Books, one of India's rapidly growing educational publishers, is on the lookout for an experienced Commissioning Editor. If you're passionate about educational publishing and excel in discovering talented authors and writers, we'd love to hear from you

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Be on top of market trends and competition behavior to identify publishing opportunities.
- Identify and recruit new authors and content vendors, focusing on a wide range of educational topics.
- Work closely with authors to develop high-quality, engaging content for leading education Boards and competitive exams.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure publication deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Work closely with Editorial leadership to budget for projects and co
- own the project P&L.
- Work with sales and trade marketing to devise go-to-market strategy by identifying business influencers.
- Display strong language skills to review promotional releases for alignment to content goals
- Be responsible for reviewing the product catalogue.
- Plan long term publishing programme, again working closely with the editorial and sales leadership team.

**Eligibility Criteria & Requirements**:
1. Minimum 10 years of experience in commissioning or related roles in educational publishing.

2. Post-graduate qualification in a regular course.

3. Excellent language skills.

4. Strong network and ability to engage with authors and writers effectively.

5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

6. A keen eye for detail and a passion for educational publishing.

7. Strong knowledge of Publishing processes.

8. Willingness to travel on work extensively as a job requirement.
