- Provide assistance with feeding, meal preparation, and hydration, adhering to dietary restrictions as needed.
- Assist with positioning and turning bedridden clients to prevent pressure ulcers and promote comfort.
- **Medication Reminders and Monitoring**:

- Remind clients to take prescribed medications according to schedule.
- Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional.
- Monitor clients for any adverse reactions to medications and report any concerns to healthcare providers.
- **Health Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate.
- Observe clients for changes in condition, behavior, or physical appearance and report any abnormalities to supervising healthcare professionals.
- Document care provided, including observations, interventions, and client responses, in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- **Assistance with Therapeutic Activities**:

- Assist clients with prescribed exercises and rehabilitation activities, under the direction of physical or occupational therapists.
- Encourage and support clients in participating in therapeutic activities to improve mobility, strength, and function.
- Provide emotional support and motivation to clients during rehabilitation and recovery.
- **Household Support**:

- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up living areas, doing laundry, and washing dishes.
- Assist with meal preparation and grocery shopping, ensuring clients have access to nutritious food options.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including organizing clutter and removing trip hazards.
- **Companionship and Emotional Support**:

- Engage clients in conversation and social interaction to combat loneliness and isolation.
- Provide emotional support, empathy, and reassurance to clients during times of distress or anxiety.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, recreational activities, or social outings as needed.
- **Family Communication and Collaboration**:

- Communicate regularly with clients' family members or caregivers to provide updates on the client's condition and care needs.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, therapists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- **Cultural Sensitivity and Respect**:
