**Job Title : Childcare Assistant**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision and Care**: Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in a safe and secure environment.
- **Assist Lead Teacher**: Collaborate with lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
- **Hygiene and Health**: Ensure children's basic needs are met, including diaper changes, feeding, and promoting good hygiene practices.
- **Safety**: Maintain a safe and clean environment, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- **Communication**: Communicate effectively with parents regarding the child's daily activities, development, and any concerns.
- **Behavior Management**: Assist in managing and redirecting challenging behaviors in a positive and constructive manner.
- **Play and Activities**: Engage children in educational and recreational activities, fostering their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- **Supplies and Inventory**: Help in maintaining and organizing childcare supplies, toys, and equipment.
- **Emergency Procedures**: Be familiar with and follow emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and first aid.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, developmental progress, and any incidents.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: A high school diploma or equivalent is often required. Some positions may require additional early childhood education coursework or certifications.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a childcare setting, babysitting, or related field is beneficial.
- **CPR and First Aid Certification**: Many employers prefer or require Childcare Assistants to hold current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- **Patience and Compassion**: Demonstrated patience and a compassionate approach when working with children.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work well in a team, collaborating with other childcare professionals.
- **Communication Skills**: Good verbal and written communication skills, particularly when interacting with parents and other staff members.
- **Flexibility**: Ability to adapt to changing schedules and tasks as needed.
- **Understanding of Child Development**: Basic knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- **Background Check**: Successful completion of a background check is typically required.
- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to actively engage with children, including bending, lifting, and participating in play activities.

**Salary**: ₹8,314.41 - ₹17,708.93 per month
