**Job Title**: VMC Operator

**Job Summary**: The VMC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating vertical machining centers to produce precise parts according to engineering specifications. The operator will use CNC programming, inspect parts, perform routine maintenance, and ensure machine operation runs smoothly and safely.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up, program, and operate Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to machine parts according to blueprints, drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Inspect machined parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Load and unload parts into the machine and secure them using proper fixturing.
- Adjust machine settings (speed, feed rate, tool position) to optimize the machining process.
- Change tooling and fixtures as needed to meet production requirements.
- Perform basic machine maintenance, such as lubrication, cleaning, and changing worn-out parts.
- Monitor machine performance to detect issues like abnormal noise, vibrations, or incorrect readings, and make necessary adjustments.
- Interpret and follow detailed work orders, blueprints, and part specifications to ensure proper execution.
- Follow all safety guidelines and practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate production logs, machine records, and inspection reports.
- Communicate with supervisors and other team members to ensure timely completion of work and resolve any production issues.
- Work with engineering and quality control teams to troubleshoot and solve problems related to machine performance or part quality.

Pay: From ₹23,000.00 per month
