**Job Title**: Senior VMC Operator / Programmer

**Location**: Rabale, Navi Mumbai

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Independently **set up, operate, and program** VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Perform **manual programming** using G & M codes directly on the machine control panel.
- Interpret and work from **engineering drawings, blueprints, and process sheets** to produce components within tolerance.
- **Optimize machining parameters** to achieve the best balance of quality, accuracy, and productivity.
- Manage and operate **multiple VMC machines simultaneously** when required.
- Conduct **tool setup, offsets, and calibration** for different machining operations.
- Ensure **routine maintenance** of machines and tools for optimal performance.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments like **micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges**, etc.
- Collaborate with the production and quality teams to ensure **adherence to specifications** and resolve machining issues.
- Maintain **5S, safety, and quality standards** on the shop floor.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Minimum 10 years** of proven experience as a VMC Operator/Programmer.
- Strong knowledge of **CNC controls** (Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi or equivalent).
- Proficient in **manual G-code programming** and editing.
- Ability to **set up fixtures, jigs, and tools** independently.
- Experience in **multi-machine handling** and process optimization.
- Sound understanding of **engineering drawings and geometric tolerances (GD&T)**.
- Excellent attention to detail, precision, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work **independently** as well as part of a team.

**Education**:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Tool & Die Making (or equivalent qualification).
