Roles & Responsibilities:

- Understand and design hydraulic brake system & components. Knowledge of regulatory requirements of Braking system in accordance with ECE/FMVSS/IS regulations. Front and rear brake sizing for 2&3W vehicles with optimization of Wheel brakes. Wheel diameters/brake factors, optimum braking forces of a vehicle. Master cylinder, brake booster design and selection. Brake force distribution for overall vehicle. Performing requirement development, coming from reference and applicable documents from Metiers, Standards, Certification, Safety, Platform and Customer Repetitive braking thermal and braking loss calculation. Thermal calculations of rotors and cooling requirement in collaboration with CFD Team. Excellent material science knowledge, analytical calculations with knowledge of thermal analysis is an added advantage. Vehicle level test and validation planning and early detection of potential problems. Data acquisition/post processing of captured data is highly desirable. Produce design ideas, technical plans for prototypes using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Proficient in engineering drawings, engineering standards, dimensioning & tolerance, drawing symbols, GD&T, engineering calculation, engineering materials, tolerance stack-up analysis and etc.. Responsible for creating and maintaining the documents to support manufacturing, testing and assembly (BoM, PFC, DFM&A, DFMEA, DVP&R and etc..) En
- gineering co-ordination with Inter-discipline/client/consultant/contractor/vendor

Requirements & Skills:

- 5+ years of experience designing mechanical components and systems from concept through production validation.
- Strong working capability with (Solid works, Creo, Catia, etc.)
- Experience in Homologation and full vehicle development requirements is highly desirable. Excellent in material science and selection and thermal calculations.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation & communication skills, with ability to successfully deliver technical solutions in alignment with cross functional stakeholder.
- Should have basic knowledge of electro/mechanical interfaces and systems.
