About this Role

  • Position Summary: As a Motorcycle Chassis Component Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing motorcycle chassis and structural components.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Will have 3-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Hold a bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/Production/Automobile.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Calculate loads on motorcycle parts.
  2. Create 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings for motorcycle structural components.
  3. Apply design principles to ensure efficient manufacturing, assembly, serviceability, and geometric dimensioning.
  4. Select suitable materials based on factors such as strength, weight, cost, and durability.
  5. Understand chassis systems including suspension and brakes.
  6. Perform structural analyses and simulations to validate design performance under various conditions.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate components seamlessly.
  8. Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes and specifications.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in CAD software (Creo preferred).
  • Strong understanding of simulation tools for structural and thermal analysis.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes like Assembly, Welding, Casting, Forging, and Machining.
