Godown Incharge

**Role Overview**:
The Godown Incharge is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse/godown. This includes managing inventory, ensuring the quality of stored items, coordinating with the logistics team, and supervising the loading and shipment process. The role ensures operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with safety and organizational standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Conduct regular stock audits and report discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of goods.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Check the pH value of drinking water cans regularly to ensure quality standards are met.
- Scan QR codes on each water can to track production and delivery details.
- Report any quality issues or damages to the concerned department immediately.
- **Loading and Shipment**:

- Supervise the loading of goods for dispatch and ensure shipments are accurate and timely.
- Coordinate with drivers and loaders to ensure smooth delivery operations.
- Prepare daily dispatch reports and maintain documentation.
- **Godown Maintenance**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the godown premises.
- Ensure proper stacking of goods to prevent damage.
- Implement safety measures to avoid accidents and comply with regulations.
- **Team Management**:

- Supervise and manage the activities of loaders, drivers, and other warehouse staff.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide necessary training.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain records of stock, shipments, and returns.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory and operations.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer support, for operational updates.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Minimum qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

Pay: ₹300,000.60 - ₹400,000.26 per year
