**About the role**
This opportunity sits within the Center of Excellence’s Transformation Team, that is focused on reshaping the future of Finance at Synopsys, driving strategy, process, system, structural and behavioral change across the finance function. The Anaplan Solution Architect role will work with the Corporate Senior Director, partnering with Synopsys leadership globally to drive transformative change in the collaborative planning and forecasting processes.- The Anaplan Solution Architect will be working on projects that may emanate from Asia, Europe and US finance teams hence flexible to collaborate with different time zones.
- **Key Responsibilities**
- Serve as the architectural SME for large-scale connected planning solutions
- Gathering and analyzing business requirements
- Recommending roadmaps and implementation plans
- Develop model documentation
- Design Anaplan integrations with Salesforce and SAP Analytics Cloud
- Lead in data integration and migration solutions
- Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models
- Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality
- Participate and/or lead UAT testing and deployment
- Operate cross-functionally with some ambiguity, and provide expertise to Strategy and FP&A teams on best practices for modeling and reporting
- Translate requirements into functional requirements and use cases
- Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions, and other model settings to meet business needs

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology Information Systems, or equivalent degree or other relevant fields of study
- 3 years or more experience of successfully implementing Anaplan solutions as Solution Architect or Model Builder on 6 or more Anaplan implementation projects
- Certified Anaplan Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus
- Exemplifies Connected Planning Culture
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
- Strong understanding of data integration (inbound and outbound)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion
- Record of career progression with increasing levels of responsibility
- Experience in a fast changing, fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork, including the ability to interact with all organization levels
- Experience in independently leading projects and cross-functional stakeholders
