**Job Title**: Furniture Cost Estimator

**Job Summary**: The Furniture Cost Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for furniture production and installation. This role involves analyzing design plans, materials, labor costs, and other factors to determine accurate pricing. The estimator will work closely with the sales, production, and design teams to ensure that cost estimates meet both budgetary and quality requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review furniture designs and blueprints to evaluate the materials, labor, and production processes required.
- Gather pricing information from suppliers for raw materials (e.g., wood, fabric, hardware) and identify cost-effective options.
- Estimate the labor costs involved in furniture manufacturing, including time required for assembly, finishing, and installation.
- Collaborate with designers and production teams to assess the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of custom designs.
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for projects, including material, labor, overhead, and shipping costs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market prices and industry trends to adjust estimates accordingly.
- Provide recommendations to reduce costs without sacrificing quality or design standards.
- Review and adjust estimates based on feedback or changes in project scope.
- Ensure all cost estimates align with company pricing standards and profitability goals.
- Communicate with clients to explain cost estimates and justify pricing decisions.
- Track project costs through completion to ensure they remain within estimated budgets.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in estimating, preferably in the furniture or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of materials, production processes, and labor costs related to furniture manufacturing.
- Proficiency in estimation software, spreadsheets, and other related tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills for presenting estimates to clients and stakeholders.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with 3D design software and familiarity with furniture production technology.
- Knowledge of current trends in furniture design and consumer preferences.

**Work Environment**:

- The position may require occasional travel to suppliers, production facilities, or client locations.
- Office-based work with some fieldwork as necessary for accurate cost assessment.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
