CNC Turner Job Description

**Responsibilities**:

- Medium batch work.
- The movement, administration, and identification of product between areas.
- The general housekeeping of the machines and all surrounding areas.
- Reading engineering drawings.
- Load and prepare materials and tools.
- Reading and working to detailed Engineering Drawings and Customer samples.
- Work from complex engineering drawings.
- Deal with variety of materials, small batch work.
- Working to tight tolerances to create components for a range of industry sectors.
- Operating CNC Mills advantageous.
- Conforming to the inspection and paperwork requirements ISO 9001.
- Working from technical drawings.
- OCQ - Operator Control of Quality.
- Editing and offsets of programmes.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum three (3) years’ experience of operating and setting precision engineering components.
- Minimum ONC Qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Confidence in their work, and keen to learn more skills, machines, and controls.
- Engineering Apprenticeship (Desirable but not Essential);
- Extensive experience of Programming CNC lathes using Fanuc;
- Must be a proactive team player, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Have a good understanding of engineering drawings.
- Machining to tight tolerances.
- Familiarity with Fanuc.
- The necessary skill set to work within a team environment or individually.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Able to read and produce components from engineering drawings.
- Good communication, operational and organizational skills.
- Ensuring that quality and safety standards are adhered to at all times.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.

**Salary**:

- Rs15,000/- to Rs.20,000/
- Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
