**Role Summary**

The Purpose of role is to extend testing support related to product integrity initiatives. Support to drive continuous improvements using Integrated management system framework and follow/establish procedures and guidelines to confirm quality of components.

**Internal contacts**:

- Communication: -Intercompany stakeholders, LZAI functions.

**External contacts: -**
- **Analytical instruments**service providers, chemical /glassware/utility suppliers.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform QA activities in collaborative way.
- Lab study and analytical testing as per defined protocol.
- Support for** Calibration** of analytical instruments and **standardization** of volumetric solutions.
- Analytical data reporting and product qualification in system.
- Support to **IMS initiative** related to reliability, efficiency, product quality, safety and minimize maintenance/operation cost.
- Analytical testing **precision performance** monitoring.
- **Nonconformance** reporting/ management through LZ system.
- Own in-house maintenance of **Analytical** **instruments**.
- Analytical testing support to **customer complaints resolution**.
- Responsible for **workplace management** (5S).
- Support HSE goals in consistence and accelerating site journey to “Zero Harm - Zero injury”,

**REQUIREMENTS**(education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements)**:
**Required Expertise / Knowledge / Skills**
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Chemistry from a recognised university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in speciality chemicals industry, preferably in MNC environment.

or
- Sound knowledge of analytical testing instruments like GLC, ICP, FTIR, auto titrators and wet analysis. Experience in laboratory blending/synthesis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- English communication.
- Computer -Software skills: - Adequate fluency with MS Office, proficient in SAP QM module or related systems.
- Can work in a team, should be flexible to work in shifts.
- Execute tasks in consultation with QA team leader.
- Exposure to workplace management tools like 5S will be advantage.
