Production Supervisor(Print Industry)

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily print production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Lead, train, and motivate production staff to achieve optimal performance and quality standards.
- Schedule and assign tasks to production team members according to workload and priorities.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to safety guidelines and quality control procedures.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies required for print production.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as design and prepress, to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of projects.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a productive and organized work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to production team members.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to print production.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in print production, with demonstrated supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of print processes, including offset printing, digital printing, and finishing techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and print production software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Print MIS).
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as required by production schedules.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a production environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
