**I. JOB DETAILS**

**Job Title**

Staff Nurse

**Reporting Supervisor**

Chief Nursing Officer

**II. JOB PURPOSE**

To deliver high quality nursing care as per ISO/NABH/JCI Norms.

**III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To administer prescribed medications to the patients as per patient safety norm policy and to be responsible for documenting the same.
- To provide the initial nurse assessment and periodic follow up assessment nursing based on established clinical practice standards and to document the same.
- To respond promptly to a nurse call from the patient, attendant or doctors.
- To be responsible for holistic care of all her/his patients which includes physical, psychological and spiritual needs?
- To be responsible for executing all physician orders promptly and efficiently and for documenting the same.
- To collaborate with other disciplines like dietetic, front office etc to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.
- To be responsible for receiving, transferring and discharging patients as per protocols.
- To promote safe environment for patients, visitors and co workers including the implementation of infection control policies of the hospital.
- Any other task assigned to you from time to time.
- MCI, hospital and nursing homes.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- GNM/BSc. Nursing
