**Position Title**: Front Office Associate
**Department**: Front Office / Guest Services
**Job Summary**:
The Front Office Associate is responsible for providing excellent guest service at the front desk, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out procedures, handling guest queries and requests efficiently, and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the lobby area.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Greet guests warmly on arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out process.
- Handle guest reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the system accurately.
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance) to fulfill guest requests.
- Maintain updated records of room availability and guest accounts.
- Process payments, issue invoices/receipts, and balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
- Ensure the front desk and lobby area are clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Assist in upselling rooms, services, and amenities to maximize revenue.
- Provide information about local attractions, transport, and services as needed.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Minimum qualification: Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management (preferred).
- Prior experience in a similar role in hospitality is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using property management systems (PMS) and MS Office.
- Pleasant personality, customer-oriented attitude, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
