Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Personalized Housekeeping Service:
Anticipate and respond to the housekeeping needs and preferences of guests with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
Coordinate with other staff to arrange personalized housekeeping services tailored to each guest's preferences.
Handle special housekeeping requests, such as specific cleaning schedules, laundry preferences, and room arrangements.
2. Room and Suite Maintenance:
Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and suites to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and luxury.
Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all areas of guest rooms and suites.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and suites to ensure they are well-stocked with necessary amenities and impeccably presented.
Manage laundry and wardrobe services for guests, ensuring their attire is cleaned, pressed, and ready for use.
3. Inventory and Supplies Management:
Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
Order and restock supplies as needed to ensure an adequate inventory is always on hand.
Monitor and report any maintenance issues or necessary repairs to the appropriate department.
4. In-House Services:
Assist in planning and executing private events, dinners, and parties for guests, ensuring every detail is meticulously handled.
Coordinate with the culinary team and other staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Manage event schedules, setup, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations.
Provide personalized recommendations for activities, dining, and other services to enhance the guest experience.
5. Communication and Coordination:
Serve as the primary point of contact between guests and the housekeeping and in-house services departments.
Communicate effectively with other housekeeping staff, maintenance, kitchen, and front desk personnel to ensure prompt and efficient service.
Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping and in-house services promptly and professionally.
6. Administrative Duties:
Maintain detailed records of guest preferences, special requests, and service history.
Prepare and manage schedules for housekeeping tasks and services.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels for guest amenities.
Coordinate transportation arrangements, including airport transfers and local travel, when required.
7. Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping and hospitality.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve housekeeping and in-house service skills and knowledge.
Provide feedback and suggestions for improving housekeeping and in-house services and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
HM Management Graduate
Proven experience as a Butler or in a similar housekeeping and in-house service role within a luxury environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
Discretion and confidentiality in handling personal information and requests.
Proficiency in housekeeping management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
A refined and professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
