**Role & responsibilities**

**Design Development**
- Develop and create original têxtile designs for home furnishing products such as curtains, upholstery, bedding, and rugs.
- Translate design concepts into detailed sketches, digital renderings, and prototype samples.

**Trend Analysis**
- Stay updated with the latest trends in home dcor, têxtiles, and fashion to ensure designs are relevant and appealing to target customers.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in the market.

**Material & Color Selection**
- Source and select appropriate fabrics, colors, and materials that align with design concepts, quality standards, and production requirements.
- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.

**Collaboration & Communication**
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, merchandising, and marketing to ensure alignment of design concepts with brand objectives and customer preferences.
- Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making revisions as necessary.

**Quality Assurance**
- Participate in sample reviews and product testing to ensure designs meet quality standards, durability, and performance expectations.
- Work with production teams to address any design-related issues or challenges during the manufacturing process.

**Documentation & Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of design specifications, material samples, and project timelines.
- Organize and archive design files, sketches, and digital assets for future reference and continuity.
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field from **NIFT /pearl/J J School of Art**:

- Proven experience as a Textile Designer specializing in home furnishing or related industry.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of têxtile designs, patterns, and projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), CAD, and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of têxtile printing techniques, weaving, knitting, and dyeing processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
