Warehouse Executive

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR) is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment, tools, service, and technical solutions for the mining industry. The product offering covers rock drilling, rock cutting, rock crushing, loading and hauling and materials handling.

We are searching for an Executive / Sr. Executive
- Warehouse to join our team in SMR-Assembly Center, Hinjewadi Pune.

The role

The person in this position will Administer and operate warehouse, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.

Areas of responsibility:

- As the Warehouse Executive, you will be accountable for all materials and supplies in the store's facilities; audits goods received into warehouse. Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space. Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment. Performance of responsibilities as per KPI set by company from time to time.

Additional responsibilities include:

- Co-ordinating material receipt activity of unloading, checking, labeling, and put away/Binning of items
- Co-ordinating Import shipments from origin to Hinjewadi factory (this includes all custom clearance process and transportation)
- System GRN entries in SOPIC and processing invoices to accounts for further payment process
- Co-ordinating and Monitoring Material issuance to assembly center production as per schedules provided by Planning/Production
- Preparation of delivery challan and dispatch of job work / Rework etc. material to suppliers
- Material issuance in ERP system
- Co-ordinating Finished Goods and Aftermarket dispatches along with invoicing and other required documentation
- Participate in ECN activities related to warehouse scope
- Packaging standardization
- Consumable issuance in system as per guidelines.
- Plan FIFO implementation for targeted material
- Follow and maintain all safety EHS norms
- Monitor EHS 360 system activities
- Monitor and completion of Perpetual Inventory
- Inventory management
- Inventory mismatch Investigations & Take necessary actions on it
- Maximum utilization of resources
- Need to suggest and follow best industrial practices for warehouse work
- Maintain the master location list update in system

Your profile

Education / Experience

Bachelors or Master’s Degree with 4-5 Year Experience in Preferably in the warehouse in Construction equipment/manufacturing industry in stores, warehouse, supply chain.

Competencies

Excellent self-management and project management skills

Highly motivated and able to work in a team environment

Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, time management and planning skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Good understanding on EHS Standards

Must be detail oriented, and perform well under pressure
