**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Snowflake Architecture & Development**
- Design and implement **Snowflake-based data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines** to support business objectives.
- Architect and optimize **Snowflake schemas**, ensuring **performance, scalability, and reliability**.
- Build and optimize **ETL/ELT** processes using Snowflake’s **native tools, Informatica, or Talend**.
- Develop and maintain **data ingestion strategies**, including **manual and automated Snowpipe ingestion**.

**Data Governance, Security, and Compliance**
- Implement **data governance best practices**, ensuring compliance with industry **security and privacy regulations**.
- Optimize **data clustering and partitioning strategies** for improved query performance and cost efficiency.
- Ensure proper **access control and security policies** are in place for Snowflake **user roles and permissions**.

**Collaboration and Technical Leadership**
- Work with **data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders** to understand **data requirements** and provide scalable solutions.
- Provide **technical mentorship** to junior engineers, ensuring **best practices in Snowflake architecture and data warehousing**.
- Stay up to date with **Snowflake advancements, cloud data warehousing trends, and best practices**.
- Lead **migration efforts** from **on-premises databases** to **Snowflake on AWS/Azure/GCP**.

**Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting**
- Conduct **performance tuning and query optimization** using **micro-partitioning and re-clustering techniques**.
- Troubleshoot **data integration, ingestion, and transformation issues**, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
- Develop **automation scripts using Python or Unix Shell** to optimize data workflows.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field**.
- 8-10 years of experience in **data warehousing, ETL development, and cloud-based data solutions**.
- At least **3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake**, including **schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning**.
- Strong expertise in **SQL, Python, or Scala** for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience with **ETL/ELT** pipelines using **Informatica, Talend, or Snowflake’s built-in features**.
- Hands-on experience with **AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud**, including **Snowflake deployment and management**.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to **troubleshoot complex data issues** in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in **migrating databases** from on-premises to **Snowflake cloud** solutions.
- Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools** for data processing.
- Excellent **communication and collaboration skills** to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Snowflake certification (**SnowPro or equivalent**) is a plus.

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience in **real-time data streaming** and processing in Snowflake.
- Knowledge of **cloud-native security best practices** for Snowflake on AWS/Azure.
- Familiarity with **Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, or Databricks**.

Pay: ₹1,875,358.69 - ₹3,365,401.57 per year
