Supply Chain In-Charge

Location -Nagercoil

Categories and Responsibility
- Budget & Cost Control
- Align monthly budgets and prioritize purchases accordingly.

Strategically plan latex/firewood purchases below standard market rates.

Negotiate for cost reduction and optimize purchasing efficiency.
- Inventory & Stock Management

Coordinate between stores and purchase for aligned vendor and item master records.

Ensure timely inflow of materials based on lead times and maintain ROL.

Monitor and reduce inventory holding and MOQ requirements.

Oversee scrap handling with proper documentation and accounting.

Coordinate with finance during monthly stock verifications.
- Reporting & Documentation

Negotiate better credit terms and reduce freight costs.
- Team & Process Coordination

Collaborate with stores, planners, and factory teams to streamline procurement.

Supervise Purchase Trainee and Senior SCM Executive in their respective duties.
- Vendor & Purchase Management

Maintain and update vendor and item master list in Tally; conduct vendor site audits.

Identify new/alternate vendors to reduce MOQ, cost, and dependency.

Ensure item codes are mapped correctly with vendor details.

Monitor and convert pending PRs to POs daily within budget.

Ensure material specs are accurate and deliveries are on-time.

Submit POs for technical check and approvals from FM, Accounts In-Charge, and MD.

Develop alternate vendors for critical materials.

Oversee procurement of strategic items like latex, chemicals, firewood, fuel, etc.

Experience
- Knowledge on ERP, SAP and should have 7 years’ experience in stores and purchase experience

Salary - 38000 to 45000

Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Schedule:
