**Responsibilities**:
- A bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field is typically required.
- Additional certifications or courses related to real estate law or paralegal studies can be beneficial.
**Experience**:
- **Minimum 10 Years**: Hands-on experience specifically in real estate law or within a real estate legal department or law firm.
- **Expertise in Real Estate Transactions**: Extensive experience in handling real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and financing.
- **Title and Due Diligence**: Proficiency in conducting title searches, due diligence, and reviewing title reports.
- **Document Drafting**: Demonstrated skill in drafting and reviewing real estate documents such as purchase agreements, deeds, leases, and easements.
- **Litigation Support**: Experience in supporting real estate-related litigation or dispute resolution matters.
**Skills and Abilities**:
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail, particularly in reviewing contracts and legal documents related to property transactions.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in conveying complex legal concepts to clients and other stakeholders.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in dealing with complex real estate legal issues.
- **Team Collaboration**: Ability to work effectively within a legal team and interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and other staff.
**Additional Factors**:
- **References and Track Record**: A solid track record in real estate law with references or case histories showcasing successful transactions or cases.
- **Regulatory Knowledge**: Up-to-date knowledge of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
- **Leadership and Mentorship**: Experience in mentoring junior staff or leading projects within a legal team may also be a plus.
