**About the team**

This role is a part of our** Remote Infrastructure Management Team.** Monitoring the backup environment for the regular operations. Implementation, Support and Maintenance.

**What you will be doing**
- Monitoring the CommVault 10 & 11 backup environment for the regular operations & Resolve L3 issues
- Review backup infrastructure performance & suggest capacity & tuning requirements.
- Providing support to any technical issues which may be experienced,
- Work with Various teams (internally & customers) for any support needs,
- Liaison with vendors for the technical issues/ escalations
- Working with project management team for the implementation of the new servers in the environment & Providing the Disaster Recovery Support for the backup environment
- Completes backup and recovery, data migration, storage allocation, connectivity and storage reporting requests.
Knowledge of backup tools **Veritas NetBackup, Commvault and Veeam** is a must.
Works with senior peers to develop change management procedures.
May require rotating 24x5, on-call support responsibility as well as weekend support.

**What you bring**:

- 6+ years of experience in Backup technologies
- Primary Skill - CommVault, Secondary - NetBackup, (Veeam can be trainable)
- Awareness to ITIL framework & concepts, Excellent customer service skills & Ready to work in 24x7 environment in rotational shifts,
- Develops large and/or highly complex solutions that require analysis and research.
- Works on multiple projects as a project leader or technical leader/consultant.
- Works on complex tasks, projects or issues that involve a high degree of risk, impacts business unit performance and makes use of the individuals’ high level of knowledge within one or more areas of specialty.

**Added bonus if you have**:

- Experience in Windows, CommVault, TSM, NetBackup will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of **FIS’ products and services**:

- Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
- Knowledge of financial services industry
- Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
