**Role Description**:
Test Planning and Design:
Develop comprehensive test plans based on project specifications and requirements.

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.

Test Execution:
Execute test cases and document test results thoroughly.

Perform both manual and automated testing as required.

Collaborate with development teams to reproduce and debug issues.

Defect Management:
Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools.

Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.

Regression Testing:
Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified and resolved defects do not reoccur.

Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand system requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Automation:
Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.

Identify opportunities for test automation and work towards increasing automation coverage.

Reporting:
Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress, defects, and overall product quality.

Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders regarding testing activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2-3 years proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing.
- Familiarity with test management tools and version control systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong knowledge in selenium using java
- Knowledge in testing frameworks such as testing will be an added advantage.
