**Job Description: Steward/ Hostess**
**Department: Food & Beverage Service**
**Reports to: Team Leader / Executive**
**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure to provide proficient and professional Food & Beverage service to the guests by meeting and also exceeding their expectations.
- Welcome the guests by greeting them as per the standards.
- Taking handover & checking the service area too is well-stocked with linen, silver,
glassware, chinaware etc
- Obtains requested items from the storeroom.
- Keeps general appearance and maintenance of Restaurant working areas.
- Asks the guest for water
- Presenting the menu to the guest
- Serves the order in a proper sequence.
- Cleans all spillage during mealtime and at closing.
- Maintains excellent grooming standard at all times.
- When guest have finished the meals, clearing the plates.
- Clearing the table and reset the table.

People Management:

- Respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure to attend to guest complaints, requests or inquiries regarding the food and
services.
- Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments’ productivity, morale and guest service.

**Note : The above guidelines can be changed by the General Manager at any given time.**

**Experience : 0-3 Years**

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Rotational shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Powai, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- steward/hostess: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (required)
