**Position: Sofa Designer**

**Job Summary**:The Sofa Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative and aesthetically pleasing sofa designs. This role requires a combination of creativity, technical proficiency, and a keen understanding of market trends and customer preferences. The Sofa Designer collaborates with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and marketing, to bring designs from concept to production.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Conceptualization and Design**:Generate creative and original sofa design concepts that align with market trends and brand identity.
Utilize design software and hand sketching to illustrate and communicate design ideas effectively.
Consider ergonomic principles and functionality while creating aesthetically pleasing designs.

**Research and Trend Analysis**:Stay updated on current trends in furniture design, materials, and color palettes.
Conduct market research to identify customer preferences and emerging design trends.

**Collaboration**:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness of designs.
Collaborate with marketing teams to understand target customer demographics and incorporate market feedback into designs.

**Prototyping and Testing**:Oversee the development of prototypes and participate in testing and refinement processes.
Address any design-related issues during the prototyping phase and collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure design integrity.

**Material Selection**:Research and select appropriate materials for sofa construction, considering factors such as durability, sustainability, and cost.
Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality materials that meet design specifications.

**Documentation**:Create detailed design documentation, including specifications, drawings, and material lists.
Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation for the production team.

**Quality Assurance**:Collaborate with the quality assurance team to establish and maintain quality standards for the finished products.
Conduct regular reviews to ensure that manufactured products adhere to design specifications.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sofa Designer or similar role.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp).
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and furniture construction.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Portfolio showcasing previous sofa design projects.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
