**Position: Early Years Educator**

**Required experience: 2 years**

**Working Hours: 8:30 am to 3:00 pm**

**Location**:SASE - System for Alternative Schooling and Education - Bangalore

**The Role / Job Description**:
To be a successful early childhood educator, you should be able to display strong communication skills and a kind and gentle demeanour when interacting with children.
Ultimately, an outstanding early childhood educator should display patience and use creative ways to interact and engage with children.

**Responsibilities**:

- Teaching and following a daily routine.
- Adapting the program to suit the needs of the individual child or group.
- Consistently planning innovative ways of keeping children actively engaged.
- Imparting knowledge to children through fun and play.
- Ensuring the social and emotional growth of the child.
- Addressing the physical needs of the individual child or group.
- Composing detailed reports for parents.
- Meeting with The Head of Department and Principal on a regular basis.
- Adhering to the guidelines of the Education Department and State.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- A relevant qualification in the field of education.
- Professional certification specific to Early Years teaching and learning
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field, along with prior experience at international schools.
- Ability to exercise patience when interacting with children.
- A caring and approachable nature.
- Knowledge of play-based learning.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- Experience in implementing successful system change across an Early Years setting.
- A play-based inquiry approach to teaching and learning and a student-centred approach to discipline.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
