Job Description: Dispatch Coordinator

**Location**:indore

# **Key Responsibilities**:

- **Dispatch Operations**:

- Coordinate and oversee the dispatch of goods and materials.
- Schedule and assign drivers for delivery routes.
- Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of shipments.
- **Communication**:

- Maintain clear and effective communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams.
- Address and resolve any delivery issues or delays promptly.
- Provide updates to customers regarding delivery status and ETAs.
- **Documentation**:

- Prepare and maintain dispatch logs and records.
- Verify and process delivery paperwork, including bills of lading, shipping orders, and invoices.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- **Fleet Management**:

- Monitor the status and condition of the vehicle fleet.
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Track fuel consumption and manage fuel budgets.
- **Customer Service**:

- Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through timely and accurate deliveries.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and training sessions for drivers.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements in dispatch operations.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
### **Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dispatch coordination, logistics, or a related field.
- Experience with logistics software and dispatch systems.
- **Skills**:

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- **Knowledge**:

- Understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Familiarity with the geographic area and local routes.
### **Working Conditions**:

- **Work Environment**:

- Office setting with occasional visits to warehouses and dispatch locations.
- **Work Hours**:

- Full-time position with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month

**Benefits**:
