Key Responsibilities:
1. **Cost Estimation**: Utilize your expertise to accurately estimate costs for construction projects, considering factors such as materials, labor, equipment, and overheads.
2. **Tendering Process**: Prepare tender documents, including bills of quantities, and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to obtain competitive bids.
3. **Budget Management**: Monitor project budgets throughout the construction phase, identifying variances and implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
4. **Value Engineering**: Work closely with architects and engineers to optimize project designs for cost-effectiveness without compromising quality or functionality.
5. **Contract Administration**: Assist in the negotiation and administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
6. **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and uncertainties associated with construction projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
7. **Quantity Takeoffs**: Conduct accurate quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings to inform cost estimates and procurement activities.
8. **Cost Reporting**: Prepare regular reports detailing project expenditure, forecasts, and cost-to-complete analyses for internal and client review.
9. **Variation Management**: Assess and process variations to contract scope, ensuring appropriate documentation and cost adjustments.
10. **Quality Assurance**: Collaborate with project teams to uphold quality standards and adherence to specifications throughout the construction process.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant building regulations and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional accreditation or certification (e.g., MRICS) is desirable but not essential.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
