**Job Summary**:
The Head of Department (HOD) - MCA is responsible for leading, managing, and developing the MCA department to ensure high standards of academic excellence, research, and industry collaboration. The HOD will oversee faculty, curriculum development, student engagement, and administrative operations while fostering an environment of innovation and continuous learning.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Academic Leadership**:

- Develop and implement the academic vision and strategic plan for the MCA department.
- Ensure curriculum alignment with industry trends and technological advancements.
- Promote innovative teaching methodologies, including blended and experiential learning.
- Oversee accreditation, NAAC/NBA compliance, and university affiliations.
- Ensure academic quality through periodic syllabus revisions and faculty development programs.

**2. Faculty Management**:

- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty members to maintain high teaching standards.
- Encourage faculty research, publications, and participation in conferences.
- Facilitate training programs, workshops, and FDPs to enhance faculty skills.
- Promote teamwork and a positive work environment among faculty members.

**3. Student Engagement & Development**:

- Ensure effective academic delivery and support student learning.
- Develop student-centric initiatives, such as coding competitions, hackathons, and industry certifications.
- Address student grievances and academic issues efficiently.
- Oversee internship and placement support through industry tie-ups.

**4. Research & Industry Collaboration**:

- Encourage research, patents, and funding proposals from faculty and students.
- Establish MoUs with industries, research organizations, and academic institutions.
- Promote startup culture and incubation support for student entrepreneurs.
- Organize industry talks, guest lectures, and hands-on workshops.

**5. Administration & Compliance**:

- Manage department budgets, resource allocation, and infrastructure development.
- Ensure timely documentation and compliance with university and AICTE norms.
- Represent the department in institutional committees and academic councils.
- Monitor student admissions, results, and overall academic performance.

**6. Community Engagement & Brand Building**:

- Organize national and international conferences, seminars, and technical events.
- Participate in outreach programs to attract quality students and faculty.
- Promote the department through digital platforms, social media, and academic networking.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Education**: Ph.D. (preferred) or Master's degree (MCA/M.Tech/CS) from a recognized university.
- **Experience**: Minimum 7+ years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in an administrative role.
- **Skills**: Leadership, academic planning, research capabilities, industry collaboration, and team management.
- **Technical Proficiency**: Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, ML, Data Science, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
