**Job Title**: Stores Incharge - Factory

**Job Summary**:
The Stores Incharge is responsible for managing all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from the warehouse. This role ensures that the inventory is maintained at optimal levels and is properly accounted for, while also maintaining the safety and cleanliness of the storage area.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions using the company's inventory management system.
- Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile discrepancies with the system records.
- Ensure that stock levels are maintained according to the company's policies to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures.
- **Material Handling**:

- Oversee the receiving of materials, ensuring that they are properly inspected, counted, and stored.
- Manage the storage of materials in a manner that ensures easy retrieval and minimizes damage.
- Supervise the issuance of materials to production or other departments, ensuring accurate documentation.
- **Supplier Coordination**:

- Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
- Verify the accuracy of deliveries and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Work with the procurement team to resolve issues related to supply shortages, quality, or other supplier concerns.
- **Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure that the storage area complies with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards in the storage area.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store area to prevent accidents and contamination.
- **Team Management**:

- Supervise and provide guidance to the storekeeping staff, ensuring they follow established procedures.
- Train new employees on inventory management and safety protocols.
- Schedule and manage the workload of the stores team.
- **Reporting**:

- Prepare regular reports on inventory status, stock levels, and any issues related to the store.
- Provide data and insights to the management team for decision-making purposes.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- 5-7 years of experience in inventory management, storekeeping, or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in Inventory Management or related fields.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.

**Working Conditions**:

- The position may require physical activities such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Work may take place in a factory environment, which may involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and dust.
