Job Description:
**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to ensure high-quality software releases. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Enhance and maintain the test automation framework, incorporating best practices and new technologies specific to e-commerce platforms.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and implementation. Monitor and report on software quality metrics, such as defect density and test coverage, to drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior quality engineers on the team. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools, particularly those relevant to e-commerce. C
- reate and maintain the golden data set for automation testing Understand and adopt Wayfair quality processes Create educational content, including sample code, video tutorials, and documentation Ensure to have 100% functional test automation coverage before the release

Skill Set:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, with a focus on e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as WebdriverIO, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages, such as NodeJS, Java, PHP and Python. Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and related tools, such as Buildkite, Jenkins or GitLab, is a plus.
- Strong Familiarity with SQL databases, specifically SQL Server, NoSQL / Graph database experience is a plus.
- Hands on testing experience with streaming platform like Kafka

Pay: ₹9,029.37 - ₹42,989.68 per month
