Associate 2 - Middle Office Corporate Actions Research

Who we are looking for:
Why this role is important to us:
As a member of team, you will be handling a variety of tasks associated with the various Corporate Action events, reporting the daily volumes. This role may also focus on specific duties pertaining to more complex issues and projects within a given team such as, corporate initiatives or market specific requirements.

What you will be responsible for:
As an Associate 2 you will:

- Ensure all requests received are processed timely and accurately
- Elevates issues to Senior Associate/Officer
- Adheres to department operating procedures by employing appropriate review and control procedures
- Serves as a source of technical information and training for entry-level staff
- Takes part in training, seminars, etc. to keep your knowledge up to date
- Flexibility with schedule to assist in coverage with staff vacation and illness
- Assist for Management Reporting
- Assists Management with day to day operational procedures
- Participates in special projects, as needed
- Interacts in a positive and respectful manner with team members and other functional units within the organization
- Prepare, as required, clear and concise internal/external correspondence

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in business discipline preferred or equivalent work experience
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office Applications e.g. Excel, Word, etc.
- Experience in CA knowledge and experience would be an added advantage
