A quality inspector ensures products and materials meet company requirements, industry standards, and customer specifications by inspecting, testing, and measuring them at various stages of production. Key responsibilities include identifying defects, documenting findings, recommending process improvements, and adhering to quality guidelines. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills to uphold high standards of product quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- **Inspecting and Testing**:Perform inspections, tests, and measurements on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.
- **Identifying Defects**:Locate and document defects, deviations, or non-conformance from established quality and design specifications.
- **Documenting Findings**:Maintain records of inspection results and compile reports on quality issues.
- **Process Improvement**:Provide feedback and recommend adjustments to manufacturing processes to enhance quality and prevent future issues.
- **Adherence to Standards**:Ensure products comply with customer specifications, company requirements, and relevant industry regulations.
- **Communication**:Work with production teams, managers, and engineers to communicate quality standards and resolve problems.

Essential Skills
- **Attention to Detail**:A keen eye for detail is crucial for identifying subtle flaws in products and processes.
- **Communication**:Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to report findings and collaborate with other departments.
- **Problem-Solving**:The ability to analyze issues, make quick decisions, and contribute to finding effective solutions is important.
- **Technical Knowledge**:Proficiency in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, gauges) and understanding blueprints and specifications.

Work Environment & Progression
- **Setting**:Quality inspectors often work in manufacturing facilities, monitoring production lines and materials.
- **Collaboration**:They work closely with production staff, project engineers, and Quality Assurance Managers to ensure quality is maintained throughout the process.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
