**Job Title**: Cybersecurity Intern

**Role Summary**:
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Intern who is passionate about safeguarding digital assets and eager to learn about the latest security technologies. This role offers hands-on experience working alongside our cybersecurity team, where you will assist in monitoring, analyzing, and mitigating potential security threats.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Security Monitoring**: Assist in monitoring security alerts and logs to identify suspicious activities.
- **Vulnerability Assessment**: Support the team in conducting vulnerability scans and risk assessments.
- **Incident Response**: Participate in incident response drills and help document security incidents.
- **Tool Configuration**: Aid in the configuration and management of cybersecurity tools such as firewalls, SIEM systems, and intrusion detection systems.
- **Policy & Procedure Development**: Contribute to the creation and refinement of security policies and procedures.
- **Research**: Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, network security, and common security protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning.

**Preferred Skills (Bonus)**:

- Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Familiarity with cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Any relevant coursework or certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+) is an advantage.
