**Join the buildings department in Chennai**

To support our digital delivery across the business, providing high quality drawings and models, we are seeking BIM Coordinators to join our building team in India. With over 120 professionals in India together with our global team of experts we work alongside our customers on world’s most prestigious building and industrial projects. We have contributed to notable projects like “Copenhagen airport - Terminal 3 Airside extension” and “LEGO Manufacturing Facility plant in the US, Vietnam, and China”, highlighting our commitment to excellence in buildings and addressing the growing demands of our international business. As a BIM Coordinator, you will report to the Head of Buildings MEP India.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

- Promote standard techniques in the modelling and delivery of BIM projects. Actively practise and promote continual enhancements to our automation tools, software, and standard methodology workflows at the project and regional BIM team levels.
- Deliver project BIM models by coordinating with BIM manager, Discipline lead and Discipline BIM coordinators and ensure project standards are maintained on all deliverables.
- Coordinate BIM information across disciplines and elements of the project. Resolve complex technical modelling and drafting issues.
- Manage BIM project data sets and assess BIM models on a regular basis to verify that they meet project standards and budgets. Managing and maintaining model management daily.
- Mentor other members of the team in their development along with authoring models and providing modelling guidance to other members of the BIM team.
- Monitor and guide the BIM process using Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, IFC, and others as required. Liaise with the project team and consultants to review BIM models for the project and make necessary amendments.
- Ensure 100% QA compliance with discipline checks in coordination with DL & BIM managers.

Moreover, you will have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering with 5-8 years’ experience in delivering multidisciplinary projects.
- Have an extensive understanding of building information modelling in Revit MEP and Navisworks
- Lead the BIM Modelling team for mechanical and electrical systems and services.
- Experience handling multiple BIM assignments on different projects simultaneously.
- Interested in Visual programming and Dynamo.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and upgrading BIM standards, as well as developing BIM content for mechanical and/or electrical systems and elements.
- Be able to prepare quantity take-off reports & perform quality checks at each stage of submission.
- Be a team-oriented person, and a good communicator, Ability to plan and prioritise tasks of self and team members to deadlines, continuously seek new and efficient ways to perform tasks and deliver higher quality work.
