The role of a Business Development Executive (BDE) in B2B sales is to identify, develop, and maintain business relationships with potential and existing clients. Some of the main responsibilities of a BDE include:
1. Identifying new business opportunities: The BDE should be able to identify potential clients and new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling.

2. Developing and maintaining relationships: Once the potential clients are identified, the BDE should develop and maintain relationships with them by providing them with information, proposals, and other necessary materials.

3. Sales presentations: The BDE should be able to make effective sales presentations to potential clients and persuade them to invest in the company's products or services.

4. Negotiating contracts: The BDE should be able to negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients to ensure the company gets the best possible deal.

5. Reporting and feedback: The BDE should be able to generate reports and provide feedback on the performance of the sales team and the company's sales strategies.

6. Achieving sales targets: The BDE should be able to achieve sales targets set by the company and work towards increasing revenue and profitability.

7. Staying up-to-date: The BDE should be up-to-date with the latest industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition.
