Junior Evaluator - Your future position?

As the Junior Evaluator in Givaudan you will be mainly responsible to guide the fragrance development process alongside Account Managers, Perfumers, Marketing, Research, and Laboratory experts.

In this role you will be based in Mumbai and directly report to the Creative Fragrance Director - Fabric and Fragrance & Beauty.

Givaudan’s CP teams are present in every region of the world. Years of experience have resulted in a natural knowledge of consumer preferences depending on the segment and geographical location. Our CP teams work together to create the success that Givaudan thrives on and brings together a variety of skills creation and evaluation, consumer market research, marketing, sampling, sales, customer relations, and QC, and we have a selection of key competencies present in each region.

The consumer grooming and cleaning regimen intersects with personal care, home care, fabric care, oral care, and active beauty products, with fragrance at the core of every experience. Givaudan Consumer Products (CPs) are, more often than not, responsible for carrying you through the olfactive journey of your day.

In this exciting role, you will

**Fragrance Development**:

- Develop the olfactory strategy for customers, markets, categories, and guide the Perfumery teams.
- Manage multiple complex briefs from customers and develop or select fragrances according to the given brief guidelines.
- Work with other regional creative centers to complete project assignments.
- Establish fragrances to be tested and coordinate with the Consumer Market Insights team.
- Translate Consumer Market Insight Result results into olfactory guidelines for Perfumers.
- Contribute to the olfactory analysis of new products to identify interesting notes for creative development.
- Develop new fragrances with Perfumers.
- Work with the labs for testing product stability.

**Positioning and Marketing**:

- Anticipate market tastes; work with marketing colleagues on concept generation.
- Write olfactory summaries of a region/market and customers for knowledge building and sharing.
- Conduct customer presentations/interactions.
- Write fragrance descriptions linked to marketing trends.

**Project Management**:

- Manage the project pipeline of customer briefs and other internal or projects.
- Ensure efficient execution of projects with a focus on improving the win rate, customer engagement, and speed of response.

**Customer Engagement**:

- Contribute to win briefs by selecting suitable fragrances to meet customer needs.
- Actively participate in meeting customers and the preparation for customer visits.
- Proactively provide the Sales/Key Accounts team with inputs for their account development plans.

**Your professional profile includes**: A Bachelor or University Degree in a relevant discipline. 3+ years relevant experience in Fragrances Evaluation in Fabric and Homecare segment with experience having developed winning fragrances for important local or regional or international customers. Evaluation/Application skills: Knowledge of important consumer products categories, product design principles, advanced product and technical knowledge (innovations, manufacturing, stability), ability to dissect a fragrance, offer creative ideas within the project's scope. Consumer understanding: Have experience with market insights, protocols, practices, and a broad understanding of consumers. Project Management skills: Manage the time of self and the team to contribute to the successful execution of projects. Excellent presentations skills
