**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**:

- Create a welcoming and positive customer experience at the bakery counter.
- Advise customers on baked goods selection and take orders.
- Weigh, price, and package purchased items, as well as process payments.
- Manage customer complaints and relay them to the Baker or Owner.
- Answer customer questions and provide information about bakery products.

**Inventory Management**:

- Manage the baking ingredients inventory and request the purchase of stock.
- Track ingredient expiry dates and arrange their use accordingly.
- Report low baked goods stock to the Owner in a timely manner.
- Inform the owner when ingredients or equipment need replacement.

**Baking and Kitchen Duties**:

- Assist in baking duties such as bread making, cake making, cupcake making, and cookie making.
- Prepare and portion dough, cakes, and other baked goods; mix batters; check ingredients for freshness.
- Monitor the visual appeal and availability of baked goods on display.
- Assist with packaging bakery products and dusting bakery items.
- Maintain a clean and tidy baked goods counter and perform other duties as requested.
- Clean the kitchen after business hours and prepare it for the next day.
- Comply with safety regulations relating to the bakery.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the sales floor, service counter, and bakery area.

**Operational Support**:

- Set up the bakery for morning and late-night operations.
- Open the shop promptly at 9:30 a.m.
- Arrange stands, tables, and chairs, and start welcoming customers.
- Serve dishes quickly and efficiently.
- Cut vegetables and stock them to avoid last-minute delays.
- Wash dishes properly with soap and keep them clean.
- Give bills to customers and handle cash transactions.
- Daily carry out trash disposal and ensure a smell-free environment.
- Keep the standee outside and take it back at night before closing the shop.

**Marketing and Promotions**:

- During free hours, take up marketing activities such as poster ideas and designs.
- Engage in word-of-mouth promotions and referrals.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to manage shifts.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven customer service experience.
- Excellent math and people skills.
- Passion for baking and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to comply with safety regulations and maintain cleanliness.
- Flexibility to take on additional tasks as needed.
