Profile: Civil Draughtsman Experience: 2-5 yrs relevant experience Education: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering Working Days: 6 days, Work from office only Location: Grant Road, Mumbai Key Responsibilities: To create technical drawings for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects, translating architectural and engineering designs into CAD drawings like plans, elevations, and sections. Key responsibilities include using software like AutoCAD and Revit to prepare construction documents, ensuring drawings comply with codes and standards, managing drawing revisions and files, coordinating with design teams, and supporting project estimations and approvals. Key Responsibilities Drawing Creation: Develop detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and blueprints, based on sketches, site measurements, or design concepts. Software Proficiency: Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and Revit to create and modify drawings. Design Interpretation: Accurately interpret design ideas and convert them into technical drawings suitable for construction. Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and site supervisors to gather inputs and ensure drawings align with project requirements. Revision Management: Update and revise existing drawings based on feedback, design changes, or site conditions. Compliance: Ensure all drawings and documentation adhere to relevant design standards, building codes, and project specifications. Documentation & Archiving: Maintain organized project files, drawing archives, and version control to track changes. As-Built Drawings: Assist in the preparation of "as-built" drawings for project handover. Liaison & Approvals: For some roles, responsibilities may extend to preparing and submitting documents for regulatory approvals Key Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD, and possibly Revit. Strong understanding of architectural, structural, and civil engineering principles. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
