Overview:
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Salon Receptionist to join our vibrant team. The Salon Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients, responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing salon appointments, and ensuring the smooth flow of daily salon operations.
**Responsibilities**:
**1. Customer Service**:
- Greet clients warmly and ensure a positive first impression.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about salon services.
- Assist clients with booking appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Address client concerns or issues with tact and professionalism.
**2. Appointment Management**:
- Schedule and confirm appointments using salon management software.
- Maintain an organized and efficient appointment calendar.
- Coordinate with stylists to ensure optimal scheduling and mínimal downtime.
- Manage walk-in clients and accommodate them based on availability.
**3. Administrative Support**:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Manage and maintain salon product inventory.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and inviting.
**4. Client Relations**:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Collect and update client information, including contact details and preferences.
- Communicate special promotions, events, or salon updates to clients.
**5. Team Collaboration**:
- Coordinate with salon staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient operations.
- Communicate client preferences or special requests to stylists or technicians.
- Collaborate with the Salon Manager to address any issues or improvements in the reception area.
**6. Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Adhere to salon policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about salon services, products, and promotions.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a customer service or receptionist role.
- Familiarity with salon services and products is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using salon management software.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
