**_Position Title - Business Controller Production_**

**_Job Grade - 15_**

**_Location - Bangalore HO_**

**_Education - CA or MBA(Finance) with Graduation in Engg_**

**_Experience - 5-8 Yrs_**
- Objective of the Role - _Drive business planning and control for Supply Chain operations (across procurement, cost of production, plant efficiencies) to support effective decision making by conducting analysis and preparing reports/presentations for scheduled and ad hoc requirements; Support capex planning_
- Job Responsibilities_

**_Business Planning and Strategy Formulation Support_**
- _Partner with various Supply Chain departments to develop UBL Long Range Plan/ strategy and annual operating plan (AOP)._
- _Discuss with department heads, the data being used, drill deeper into the analysis, leverage different data sets/cuts and generate multiple scenarios to aid decision-making._
- _Collate and scrutinize supply chain data across procurement, cost of production, plant efficiencies including operating plans, requirements, forecasts, and budget estimates._
- _Present targets and budgets to the management team to aid decision making._

**_Supply Chain Partnering (Analytics and Operations Support)_**
- _Develop and maintain financial models for production costs, analyze variances, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvements._
- _Lead preparation of LE (Latest Estimate) data related to SCM every quarter to enable progress as per plans and implement course-corrections_
- _Generate data/information reports and presentations for Monthly Review Meetings; Present these numbers to Operations Head & Procurement Head for review _
- _Prepare and identify variances (budget vs. actual) and gather explanation from Unit teams_
- _Provide information/data for freight and cost of production details for investor presentations/promoter meets_
- _For Board Meetings, provide all inputs required from a Supply Chain perspective_
- _Calculate profitability from various sourcing options available and provide recommendation to relevant stakeholders._

**_Capex Expansion Estimations and Analysis_**
- _Lead capacity planning for plants pan-India by reviewing existing capacities and sales projections; Draw inferences and determine way forward to build capacities_
- _Determine optimal scenarios for capacity enhancement through imports, local contractors, greenfield projects etc. _
- _Conduct financial evaluation for capex projects (e.g. tie ups with contract manufacturing plants, capacity expansion, acquisition of new plants, JVs etc.) and of cost saving projects; Provide preliminary recommendation to relevant stakeholders _
- _Partner with engineering, operations teams to discuss issues/gaps in expansion _
- _Prepare a summary Board Note capturing required operational numbers, details, analyses and estimations._

**_Special Projects_**
- _Partner with consultants/vendor for special projects; Provide data/information and operational support during execution _
- _Review consultant reports/recommendations, seek clarifications and guide implementation of changes in existing process and systems across various departments _
- _Provide costing for new product launches, as required._

**_Team Management_**
- _Provide coaching, support and leadership to ensure adequate skills and competencies are developed in the team _
- _Take responsibility to ensure that the team imbibes the committed HEINEKEN and UBL values and culture._
