The Role

We’re looking for a Social Media Associate with 12-18 months of experience who’s passionate about culture, content, and crafting brand voices that resonate. If you know your way around Instagram Reels,

obsess over Bollywood, and want to build strategies that are both thumb-stopping and effective, we’d love to meet you.

This role is ideal for someone who’s worked with content or social teams (agency or brand side) and is looking to deepen their skillset in strategy, content

**Responsibilities**

As a Social Media Associate at Rafiki, you will:

- Build tailored content strategies for Instagram with a sharp focus on Reels and storytelling
- Defi ne tone of voice, visual direction, and content themes for diverse clients
- Co-create monthly content calendars in collaboration with designers and video editors
- Conceptualise and execute campaigns aligned with business and brand goals
- Analyse performance to extract insights and continuously evolve creative strategy
- Track trends in pop culture and Bollywood that can be adapted for client brands
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams and client stakeholders

**What We’re Looking For**

RAFIKI MARKETING: SOCIAL MEDIA ASSOCIATE
- 12-18 months of professional social media experience
- A deep interest in Bollywood, celebrity culture, and internet trends
- Prior work (or strong interest) in entertainment
- Strong copy and storytelling skills for short-form content
- Comfort working with designers and editors to bring ideas to life
- Experience in writing content in Hindi is a big plus
- In-Depth knowledge of Instagram
- Great time management and the ability to work across clients with agility
- Proactive mindset with a hunger to learn, iterate, and grow

Bonus Points If You Have
- Created or managed impactful social media campaigns for brands
- A good eye for design aesthetics and video formats
