- Your responsibilities include but not limited to
- 1. Ensure manufacturing of high quality products to ensure compliance with global standards-analysis of internal failures (rework, rejection, MI/FI defects) and external failures (market issues, warranty);Identify/execute improvement projects
2. Plan and Lead Quality improvement activities and Initiatives impacting ‘Build Up Quality’-Implementation of QM Matrix of CTQ Machine; Effective Functioning of CTQ Machines.
3. Support in building a flexible production system designed to ensure smooth mass production, pre-empt losses, and defect free launch/ramp-up of new models-
- **A Day in the life**-
- You will be working on day-to-day basis on the following
- 1. Coordinating with various stakeholders, like maintenance for equipment maintenance, Market Quality for resolution of field issues
2. Work on engine defect contribution in FTR
3. Work on number of problems after Launch of New Model
4. Monitor and report line loss due to quality incidents-
- **Academic Qualification & Experience**-
- 1. Graduation/Diploma in Engineering
2. Minimum 3-4 years of experience in manufacturing, and 2-3 years in an automotive firm-
